Made from high impact ABS plastic, inner & outer epoxy welded together for a strong unibodied UNPAINTED fairing in it's natural color ready for YOUR stereo and custom paint. This price with out stereo includes ABS fairing, ABS speaker hole covers, ABS wiring access panel, stainless steel trim, windshield rubber, choice of 1 windshield color and size, splash guard cover, wiring harness, interior antenna, sound editing mat, set of right and left brackets, bolt bag with screws, bolts, washers, nuts for installation, instructions and warranty.

The fairing is shipped to you directly. It comes in the natural color ready to be painted. The inner and outer is already welded together, everything else comes individually boxed and ready for you to install after painting. You will need to pre-install the brackets only and install the fairing on your bike when you receive your fairing. After painting you will install windshield, stainless steel trim and rubber trim, splash guard cover, speaker covers, access panel. Scroll to the bottom of this page for installation pictures.

Precisely constructed from strong ABS Plastic. Comes in a neutral natural color, ready for paint.

All hardware is corrosion resistant stainless steel; brackets are included with fairing.

A rubber seal attaches against the windshield and outer fairing to repel water.  Drain holes are left open when fairing is welded together incase you get caught in a down pour.

Plastic splash guard covers the stereo area and helps prevents water intrusion.

Fairing Includes choice of windshield. Choose from a 10" clear, 10" charcoal (smoke color you can still see thru it), 5 ½" clear, 5 ½" charcoal, 5 ½" Black sport . Additional windshields can be purchased for $25.00.

Also comes with polished stainless steel windshield trim molding.

Changing windshields is simple; take out 3 stainless steel bolts and nuts at the base of the windshield and slide it up and off.

Conformal coated PCB, Plastic PCB insulator, Solid top chassis, iPod ready, Marine wired remote control ready, Positive LCD display, Front auxiliary audio input, preamp line level outputs, low battery audible warning, selectable US/Euro tuner regions, Non-volatile memory for presets & user settings 2 wire power (ACC, GND) It also features CD/CD-R/CD-RW which does not work properly on some bikes due to the suspension, tires, road, etc. CD's are almost a thing of the past, as we all use our MP3 player or subscribe to sirius satellite!!! The CD will skip so please do not plan on this feature working properly.

Aux IN Jack on the face of the unit provides a highly accessible 3.5 mm connection. When a device is connected to this AUX In Jack, it will override any devices connected to the rear auxiliary input cable. Plug your MP3 player here!

 

Auto open tinted cover retract into the fairing. Provide extra protection when washing the bike or in a heavy rainstorm.

Harley and Honda VTX Attaches/detaches in seconds utilizing stock quick detach windshield mounts (no tools required)

Yamaha, Kawaski, Suzuki, Victory, Honda Valkyrie bolts on the factory windshield mounts in seconds.

Quick detach and bolt on mounting brackets are stainless steel.

Because the stock windshield mounts are utilized you can easily and quickly swap between your Wide Open Fairing and your windshield.

YOUR FAIRING will come unpainted see natural color below!

(2) INSTALL TWO STAINLESS STEEL LEFT AND RIGHT BRACKET INTO THE PREDRILLED HOLES, USING THE 18 STAINLESS STEEL SCREWS.

(3)  INSTALLING WINDSHIELD    HINT: Use 3 RUBBER DOOR STOPS.

THEY WILL HOLD THE WINDSHIELD IN PLACE WHILE YOU INSTALL THE WASHER AND LOCK NUT ON THE INSIDE. USE NEEDLE NOSE VICE GRIPS. (SEE MORE HINTS BELOW)

USE A 11 mm WRENCH GRAY TAPE WILL HOLD THE LOCK NUT INSERT ON INSIDE WINDSHIELD; HOLD NUT AND SCREW BOLT FROM OUTSIDE; TIGHTEN BOLTS.

(4)  INSTALL RUBBER SEAL TRIM BETWEEN FAIRING & WINDSHIELD TO PROTECT FAIRING AND SEAL. PUT CORNERS IN FIRST.

DO NOT CUT RUBBER IT APPEARS TO BE TOO LONG BUT YOU WANT IT TO FIT TIGHT.

(5)  TUCK RUBBER DOWN SMOOTH

THE HOUSING TRIM PLATE HAS 2 EA CLIPS ON TOP AND BOTTOM. PULL THE BOTTOM OF THE TRIM PLATE DOWN AND AWAY TO REMOVE. THE HOUSING HAS A PIECE OF DOUBLE STICK TAPE ATTACHED AT THE BOTTOM BACK, TAKE OFF THE COVERING PAPER AND STICK YOUR STEREO TO THE HOUSING. ATTACH THE STEREO TO THE HOUSING WITH ¾" TAPE.

(8)  WIRING HARNESS TAKE SHORT SIDE AND FEED TO BOTTOM. You DETERMINE WHERE TO drill A HOLE. (depending on which side you want your wiring harness to plug in to the long side of the harness which runs to your battery).

(9) ATTACH INTERIOR ATTENNA INSIDE THE FAIRING. Tape one END to far side of fairing and run antenna to the opposite side and back to center of fairing and plug in to stereo in back.

RUN ATTENA to the opposite side and back to center of fairing and plug in to stereo in back.
